This week Monica and Camila chatted with Andrés Sierra, a Colombian-Canadian dance-pop recording artist and activist from Toronto. Their accomplishments include reaching #10 on the iTunes Dance Charts in Canada and becoming the number one trending video on YouTube in Brazil, Sweden and Australia. Their latest videos for Hearts on Fire and Resilience marks a reclamation of Andrés Sierra as a queer person, unafraid to live their authentic truth and be a voice for the voiceless.

Esta semana Mónica y Camila platicaron con Andres Sierra, Cantante de dance-pop y activista colombiano- canadiense basado en Toronto. Sus logros incluyen alcanzar el #10 en las listas musicales de “Dance” en Canadá y sus videos musicales se han convertido en tendencias número uno en Youtube en Brasil, Suecia y Australia. Sus nuevos videos musicales “Hearts on Fire” y “Resilience” marcan un cambio artístico para Andres, reclamando su “Queerness”, sin miedo a vivir su vida de una manera auténtica, para dar voz a los que no pueden alzar la suya.
